IAESTE Aachen

Frequently Asked Questions

In order to make sure that the students applying for the internships are really interested for the position, every one has to pay a deposit worth 100 € when they are bindingly affirming that they want the internship. This is very important, as there is only one applicant per internship position. It serves as a protection of the company that offers the position to make sure that we will definitely send a student there.

If you withdraw your application after paying the deposit without any grave reasons, we are obliged to keep your deposit.

After finishing your internship and after handing in the internship reports, or if the employer cancels the internship position or rejects your application, you will get back your deposit, of course.
